I started golfing about 6 months ago. For some context, I’m the tightest, stiffest, least flexible 33 year old guy you’ve ever seen. No rhythm either. Somehow Bo has tricked my brain into swinging pure and effortlessly. I saw a couple of other instructors before Bo and it just didn’t click. I feel like they were really good golfers but couldn’t figure out how to explain it to a complete beginner. Bo will break it down in a very understandable way and inevitably say something that just clicks. Every lesson he’ll say something about the mechanics or physics of the golf swing that just blow my mind. After a couple of lessons, he’ll throw all these clicks together and it’ll just make sense. Golf can be so much easier than our brain makes it. Just trust Bo’s process and the improvements will be unavoidable!

Before the lesson I had a very bad slice with my driver. Within 20 minutes with Bo I was hitting the ball straight and long. Chipping and irons are better too, after just one lesson. Worth every penny!

I have taken several lessons with Bo and really enjoy his teaching style and input into changing my swing for the better. I've been playing inconsistent golf most of my life and never received instruction. I assumed I would be an old dog who couldn't be taught any new tricks. I assumed wrong. Just had my first lesson with Bo and I can say I was more than pleased with the results! He does an excellent job of affluently yet simply breaking down the golf swing to provide understanding of how our positions impact the result. He was able to identify fixable flaws to make visible changes, without overloading or overhauling. I have never had a true golf lesson before and won’t be going to anyone else in the future!

Bo came highly recommended by a friend of mine, and for good reasons. There is no magic, you will still need to put the work to get better, but so far every drill and technique we have worked on has helped improve my game. Bo was recently recommended by a good friend of mine (and a great golfer), and had my first session with him last weekend...I was very impressed with his perspective and teaching style. Bo Knows…. Golf! Let me tell you! I’m sitting here on cloud nine bc of my first lesson I had today with Bo. He’s wisdom was simple but so wise! He don’t just say do this he tells you why and then it clicks bc it make perfect sense. He gives you grills to work on and again tells you why you doing them. He’s why was game changer to me. What he know is not from a book, it’s bc he has made all the mistakes so we don’t have to. What I all so love is he don't pressure you to come back but you are to want to go back. I would suggest that you check him out it will be worth it.

Bo is a professional! He has all of the knowledge and experience to give you very detailed advice for your swing. He spent the time to watch my swing and instead of just trying to fix the issues, he made sure I could feel the correction in the swing. That way I knew what I was looking for after the lesson was done. He gave great advice on different segments of the swing and little drills to keep my club in the right positions. The lesson came with awesome equipment to view my body and club positions throughout the swing. I was given data which completely confirmed what Bo had seen just by watching my swing prior to the equipment. After the lesson during the day, I received an incredibly detailed email which included what we discussed, any drills I can use for future reference, and all the data that was collected on my swing that day. It really helps to have all the feedback written down in one organized email. Golf aside, Bo is just a great guy to be around and someone who you want to meet. Can’t recommend him enough!

Bo is the 4th golf instructor I’ve had lessons with and the 1st one I’ve returned to. I plan on continuing to go to him for instruction for a long time. He does a good job of slowly making adjustments throughout a lesson while explaining concepts clearly. I find that I walk away from his lessons without being overwhelmed with tweaks to my swing and with good drills that have cut down on bad shots during my time on the course. In addition, being able to book him online is very convenient because most of my free time is last minute. This worked out well for this last lesson I had with him.

I have been struggling with my swing for a couple years now and dealing with various injuries through out the years. I somehow stumbled upon Bo online and decided to give golf one more shot and boy was he the biggest blessing and coach I have ever been too. I have been to other coaches before and the amount of vital information that they missed and didn’t help me change that were destroying my swing made me so disappointed in those lessons which is why I lost faith in golf coaches UNTIL I met Bo. He instantly helped me change a few vital things about my golf swing including set up, grip, and back swing. He dumbed down everything to a way I would understand, he made it super simple and easy for me to digest and implement into my swing immediately. On top of being just an absolute dope guy to hang out with and talk about golf. You can tell almost immediately that he has a deep and vast understanding of golf itself. I have went to several Golf trainers over the last 8 months and Bo by far was the most knowledgeable and most easy to understand trainer I have worked with. I was hitting straighter and further my first lesson. Now I’m about 6 lessons in with Bo this past weekend I dropped my score by 13 strokes due to the techniques Bo helped me apply to my game. I can understand why Bo is so successful, he really genuinely cares about helping his clients have a better golf game to enjoy. Bo has a good eye to quickly identify some key areas to improve. In my case he identified a few key things to focus on to improve my game. He also can use the K-motion to help validate what he says and/or find something on smaller level that you can’t see real time. He also gave me some good drills to break those things into small fractions that I can work on. He’s not a magician. You’re not gonna magically shave 5 strokes off your handicap, but he can give you things to work on to build a better swing and enjoy golf more.

Bo is a wizard. We focused on foundational things that can be applied across all clubs and it has made a dramatic improvement on consistency of my game. He also sends a detailed report after your visit reviewing everything you worked on and talked about which is helpful to revisit down the road. Came in to see Bo with the hope of improving my ball striking. I had lost distance and consistency with my ball flight. Within the first 5 minutes and maybe 2 or 3 shots, he had completely changed my mentality and improved my ball striking. I’ve had 3 or 4 lessons before from other instructors and I learned more in the first half of my lesson with Bo than anybody else I’ve worked with. I recommend Bo to anyone who wants to seriously change their game.

Bo is by far the best instructor I’ve ever had. He has a genuine passion for teaching and it shows immediately. He’s able to adapt to you so that you learn in the best way possible. I literally had 3 Eureka moments during our session and was very pleased. Bo was very relatable and a pleasure to work with. He is a straight shooter and doesn’t try to make you swing like him or even teach a swing method per-say. He more or less will work with your own unique swing and make corrections where needed to help you become more consistent. He also has access to some pretty cool 3D technology that can identify flaws and help you get into tour-like positions. He’ll then give you some simple but effective drills to help you achieve those positions and correct your flaws on your own. And if you cover a lot in your lesson and are worried you’ll forget it all, don’t worry as he will email you a detailed report afterwards with some 3D data if that was part of your lesson as well as a summary of the drills and things he wants you to work on. So don’t be that person who goes down YouTube rabbit holes and constantly goes from one swing tip to the next and never actually improves. We’ve all been there, Bo included I suspect, and you will never become consistent doing that. I’d highly recommend paying Bo a visit and committing to the things he tells you to work on. Bo is an amazing knowledgeable instructor who has helped me with my golf swing. He has a way of explaining things so that they stick and stay with you every time you step on a green. I really appreciate Bo’s professional coaching to help my preparation for my very first tournament as a beginner. It’s a company event. I wanted to learn some basic skills to be able to play. Bo has been very kind and patient to coach me to quickly learn all the basic yet important skills and etiquettes for playing a golf tournament. I would recommend Bo for any golfer looking to improve their game. He quickly diagnosed a couple simple problems with my swing, and I was seeing higher, straighter ball flights by the end of the lesson. He also uses a 3D simulator so you can see your swing from an objective perspective. I thought this was a great addition to the lesson because makes it less about someone's opinion and more about objective criteria. In summary, Bo is a great teacher!

I just got into golf these past few months, and I had my first lesson with Bo! I was super nervous to even show up as a beginner, but Bo made the experience great and I learned a lot! I’ve done in person and online lessons in the past but I’ve never had an experience like what I had with Bo. Previous lessons were always something like “get in this position” or “make this move” then go back to see the instructor or submit another video next month. My session with Bo was completely different. Bo took the time to explain what I was doing wrong and why it was wrong then gave me drills to work on. He not only is very knowledgeable about the golf swing he has a gift to be able to explain the how’s and why’s of how to fix your swing. He truly wants you to play better golf no matter what level you are. Highly recommend him.

My wife and I got a lesson from Bo and it was a fantastic experience! Bo keeps it simple, practical, and does not overload you with the wrong thoughts. He can quickly identify your main issues within your first 5 swings and confirm his assessment with K-Motion. Bo is fantastic for beginners and high-level players. One of his best traits besides coaching is his humor, he will keep a smile on your face while reinforcing your swing at the same time!

Bo was excellent, passionate, and detailed. As an engineer, he made sure to expand further on the biomechanics which helped me better understand the “why” for certain movements and exercises. I feel I can move forward with a few concrete actions to practice and train my brain into correct posture, swing, or contact. As I progress on the basics I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Bo to improve further!

Bo was very informative and provided a plethora of information. He found two things that were affecting my swing. He gave me the input and we went out and tried it on the range. The first few balls I hit were not good but Bo said trust the process and sure enough by the 5th ball my shots were straight and more than playable. I definitely am scheduling more sessions. I’ve had countless lessons with several pros over the years around a single issue I’ve had with my swing. Without a doubt, Bo has cared more about nursing my game back to health more than any other Coach. Whenever I run into Bo, he is eager to help my game in wherever I’m struggling at the moment. In terms of coaches to get lessons from, Bo is 2nd to none. P.S. he was able to find the issue that the other pros weren’t able to. Bo is excellent! He simplified what I needed to do in my swing to be successful. So far it has resulted in a low score on nine holes!

Bo is great to work with, my son and I went for our first lesson on Sunday. After seeing my swing in 3D and making the minor corrections. I am moving and swinging more freely. Actually shot my record round 2 days after the lesson! I broke par for the first time. Go see Bo!

In all seriousness, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. As a new golfer I was initially worried/nervous I would feel completely lost and not understand what I was learning at my lesson. However, my experience was the complete opposite. Bo is fantastic and helped connect the “why” on gripping the club, club face positioning, and swing mechanics. I explained some of the initial “roadblocks” I was having with consistency when hitting the ball. Bo helped identify a slight tweak to make with my grip which significantly helped with making better contact and hitting the ball straighter! I also really appreciated learning drills that I could take away from the lesson so that I can continue to improve when practicing. If you’re looking for golf lessons I highly recommend Upstate Golf RX with Bo. One thing I know is I’ll definitely be scheduling more lessons!

Had an outstanding lesson with Bo, and will definitely be back for more. The K-Motion technology paired with his passion for the game (and helping others improve) is the recipe I have been seeking for some time. 10 out of 10 would recommend anyone to go see Bo to improve their game.

Bo was great. I am completely new to golf. Picked up a golf club for the first time 1 month ago. He understood I was a beginner and help me tremendously with my swing. He gave me tips and drills that I could practice with on my own to become more comfortable with my swing, and not be completely overwhelmed with the information. Highly recommend, and definitely will be taking more lessons with him.

I spent a good amount of time looking for the right instructor. When I read Bo’s reviews, they seemed a little too good to be true. Well, the lesson was as advertised. Bo was quick to diagnose my bad habits and give me practical things to work on to ingrain good habits going forward. If you’re serious about improving your golf game, look no further.

Bo was great at pointing out the fundamentals and helping me build upon. He helped me understand the biomechanics of dialing in the golf swing. It was a great experience and can’t wait to get back on the course after this lesson.

Worked with Bo he really helped and improved my posture which resulted in me not over extending in my back swing causing uncomfortable back pain. Not to mention understanding the grip better I’m became more consistent with striking the ball and gaining more distance. I can’t wait until my next session.

I’m a new golfer and after only a few lessons with Bo I’ve gotten more comfortable noticeably better at the game! Bo is great at personalizing the instruction to whats happening during the lesson, unlike other instructors who seem to only teach what works for them. Along with the K Coach technology, Bo is a great and very personable instructor, making the challenge of learning fun!

Bo is amazing! I’ve played for 40 years, had many lessons before, but this was so different. Bo used technology to identify flaws in my posture, pelvis, angles of my hips, sternum, and arms. In 15 minutes, I was hitting the ball straight and longer. Bo doesn’t use opinion and subjective observations to make corrections, he uses technology so you can it for yourself, and make the corrections as he guides you to better understand what is happening. It’s like magic! (I am not exaggerating.) Bo’s a great guy too, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable. If you want to be a better golfer, do yourself a favor - go get a lesson with Bo. You won’t regret it.

I’ve taken a lot of lessons in my 53 years, but none have been as effective and eye-opening as the time I spent with Bo. He’s honest and you can tell that he’s committed to helping you get better. Great experience. Bo was super friendly and positive. Got hooked up to the 3D/sensor machine to better understand my swing. Changes yielded immediate benefits. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend Bo for golf lessons! Not only does he help you "feel" what a correct golf swing needs to be, the technology he utilizes in his training does an incredible job of providing visual feedback on where you are having success and what aspects of your swing you need to improve on.

Bo gave me easy, concrete, tangible, swing tweaks to make. The lesson consisted of a few warm-up swings on the range. Then, Bo put me on the computer to check what he was seeing on the range. We made a couple adjustments to my stance and take away with the computer on so I could feel where I needed to be. Finally, back to the range to implement the tweaks on fall swings. My goal for the lesson was to see more consistency in my ball, striking and more on target shots. The difference was immediate. Even my miss hits were much more on target. It was a great lesson, and a good value.
